Form Waste to Worth: Uplifting Women in the Plastic Sector

Project From Waste to Worth: Uplifting Women in the Plastic Sector

We are proud to announce the launch of our new initiative focused on reducing plastic pollution and improving the lives of women from Adivasi, Dalit, and low-income waste worker families.

This project is supported by UK International Development and the Global Plastic Action Partnership, and aims to create sustainable solutions for managing plastic waste while promoting social inclusion and economic empowerment.

Through this initiative, we will provide skill development, livelihood opportunities, and awareness programs that help women waste workers build safer, more dignified, and resilient futures — all while contributing to a cleaner, greener environment.

Together, we’re turning the challenge of plastic pollution into an opportunity for empowerment and positive change.
